Andrea Hamilton’s New Hopeful Pop Album – Out Feb 1!

Indie Singer/Songwriter Andrea Hamilton is dropping her 7th record, “Hope and Struggle,” on Feb 1st, 2017. It’s a 12-track concept album about making the best of a difficult life, where each poppy, heartfelt track is catchy and single-worthy.

Hamilton co-produced the record with her long-time friend Kevin Penner, owner of Greenbean Recording in LA. Andrea’s angel-esque vocals and smart synth lines pair with Penner’s indie drum loops to form a sound like Haim, Imogen Heap and Ingrid Michaelson took a pilgrimage together.

Before the recording process began, Andrea had written 70 songs, demo’d each, showed a handful of writer friends, chose 15 and fleshed out ideas at her home studio in the Inland Empire. Kevin Penner came alongside for sound design and 12 originals made it through the rigorous paring down process and onto the record.

Bio:
Andrea began her music career at 16 when she was named in GMA’s Top 20 New Writers.

Her music has been featured in Extreme Home Makeover, Bachelor in Paradise, Preachers of LA, Too Young to Marry, Mystery Millionare, Ex and the Why, and many other shows and indie films. She also co-wrote the theme song for TLC’s My Giant Life.

As a pop songwriter, she’s been privileged to write with Kevin Fisher (Platinum co-writer for Rascal Flatts, Sarah Evans), Ashley Argotta (from The Fosters on ABC), Matt Arcaini (producer for Disciple, Kutless, I Am Empire), Jonathan Lee (writer for Word Music), Eman Cervantez (drummer for Andy Grammar), Tyrone Wells (Universal Music Artist) and many, many others.

Andrea has performed in collaboration with countless charities and non-profits, including AIDS foundation Pasadena and Project AK-47, a Nashville-based organization that rescues child soldiers. A musical philanthropist, she has dedicated her life and talents to helping people find hope and healing. She has toured the globe sharing her own recovery story and songs about living life to the fullest.
