Woodstock is one thing that todays generation will never know. Yeah, there is Coachella, but with the price of tickets and the commercial appeal, it can never compare to what Woodstock was; peace, love and music. While one may never time travel back to those days, they can get pretty close with Border. Their brand of rock that sounds like it is somewhere in between the 60s and 70s is a good dose of that era with their album Green and Blue. Right off the bat The Right Way has a matured essence to it as it leads the way for the remainder of Green and Blue. No Conclusions makes one wonder to a back of a bar, listening to a local band made up of men with stories to tell, but then Muddy Ground puts you right back into that Woodstock rock state of mind. Other than that mindset, Border offers some songs that are cool, calm and collected, like Bright Morning, the musical Lucky Man and the Native American like Precious Woman. Border is a rock band with an old soul and appreciation for the sounds of yesterday, with a modern twist on their album Green and Blue. (https://border.bandcamp.com/)
