She was educated in the arts at the University of California Berkeley and holds two advanced degrees from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Master in Art Education and a Master of Fine Arts.

About:
Born in Chicago and educated in the arts at UC Berkeley Rain’s music was born in Manila, Philippines while serving as a US Peace Corps volunteer. She took her music and created a new sound, Rain Rock, crossover reggae music. Chicago Reggae Arts Awards awarded her three years in a row for cross over reggae music, and in 2014 she won the LA music Awards for Americana artist and album of the year for her album I&I. Her second record was created in the studio of Modest Mouse and reflects the creativity of the environment Isaac Brock creates in his Portland studios.
