Yellowtieguy is a rock band, but at the same time they have a sensitive side to them. “War (Should I Be Surprised)” has that modern rock feel like it could be found alongside Three Doors Down on a mixtape somewhere. After that, Yellowtieguy plays like a rock band with a lot of heart. “When It Comes” slows things down and then “Bitter Cup” picks them back up just a bit. “First Move” is a ballad of sorts and taps into one’s emotional side more and more with each note. That same sentiment goes for “No Sense of Direction.” If you like your alternative music with some sensitivity, check out Waldorf, Maryland’s own Yellowtieguy.
